Topic

This conference provides an overview of research in Architectural Sciences and Techniques (STA-P) within the field of Construction, Engineering, and Environmental Design (CIMA) in French-speaking schools of architecture and landscape architecture.

Its objectives are to:

  • Bring together researchers, doctoral candidates, and laboratories in the field.

  • Give a voice to teachers and practitioners whose institutional conditions do not always support research.

  • Provide a structured space for exchange for a community that is still relatively fragmented.

  • Enable doctoral candidates working in the STA-CIMA field to meet and connect.

The conference will also host contributions from industrial and academic partners, as well as international speakers (Germany, Denmark, Italy, etc.), offering a comparative perspective on STA-CIMA research in other schools of architecture and landscape architecture.

Call for Contributions

This STA-CIMA symposium, the first of its kind, aims to bring together the community and foster the emergence of scientific and pedagogical collaborations between researchers, teams, and institutions. It seeks to provide an overview of research conducted in Construction, Engineering, and Environmental Design within schools of architecture and landscape architecture, and to identify new perspectives for development. It is addressed to teacher-researchers interested in disciplinary research in STA-CIMA.

Types of contributions expected:

  1. Scientific or technical work (theoretical, computational, or experimental) within the STA-CIMA field.

  2. Interdisciplinary research connecting STA-CIMA with other domains (social sciences, digital technologies, art and design, history, design, etc.).

  3. Collaborative research involving socio-economic stakeholders and industry partners.

Contributions should demonstrate recognition by the academic community, notably through referenced publications (e.g., indexed on Google Scholar).
